I started my culinary career in a mobile guide 5-star french restaurant, 23 years ago. The Maisonette, in Cincinnati, Ohio was North America’s most highly rated restaurant before closing its doors in 2005. I cooked for several years before becoming a dining room captain and studying wine. This nurtured an unmatched skill set of high end hospitality roles that led me throughout the United States, France, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
I am well versed in most cuisines, showing my personal touches and that presentation is important. Great communication skills within the team is not a bonus- it’s the standard. The ability to adapt and work under pressure will foster a personality that will help the entire crew. Provisioning in shops without English labels and sourcing local produce has become second nature.
I’ve worked as a butler, dining room captain, wine sommelier, cooking instructor, and- yacht chef. I only know fine food. I am looking for a good fit for both of us.
